14 Years : With Your Song

Dear Ryan: Happy 14 Years as a couple, thank you so much for your love and for your patience with me.  I hope you like these simple lyrics… hopefully one day, I can sing this to you. I love you.

With Your Song
By: jvesolitario

1
For years your music filled my life.
It’s like a breath of fresh air to me.
Each note, I know you play with love.
Each simple melody,
Is a song created so beautifully.

Chorus
Thank you for taking away the silence.
and for filling my life with your song,
For God uses that as an instrument
To inspire me and carry on…
I’ve had enough days of silence
I’ve had enough days of being alone
May you always fill this life of mine
With your song.

2
So undeserving, I know I am
To hear what you’ve composed
Yet every time your music plays
This is all I ever know
My heart will follow you wherever you go

2nd Chorus
Thank you for taking away the silence.
and for embracing my life with your sound
For God uses that to reassure me
That true love is what I’ve found
I’ve had enough days of silence
I’ve had enough days of being alone
May you always fill this life of mine
With your song

Bridge
I hope someday I can repay you
And create for you a song of love
To go along with these simple words
That will truly let you know..
It’s you I’ll always love.

Ryan Solitario - Thank you, dear! Happy anniversary as a couple. I love you so much.

Galing Sa Iyo

He wrote it a few months ago, worked on it on Saturday at home while I was in a meeting in Montclair chapel, and sang it to me on my birthday. It’s one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard and one of the best gifts to have ever touch my heart :D

“Thank you dear, for the beautiful song!  I couldn’t help but cry from beginning to end when you sang it to me and I hope someday we can share it with our fellow brethren who are also in love :D Thank you for everything! For being so patient with me, for reminding me always to be strong during times of weakness and most of all, for ALWAYS reminding me to be loyal to our Father in heaven. I can’t think of anyone else who would be so perfect for me… someone who truly came from God to accompany me for the rest of my life in this world.  I love you so much!”

And for all who share my life by reading this blog… here are the lyrics to the song (still needs to be checked for approval before being official) and it’s in tagalog, but I’ll TRY to translate it later because sometimes its hard to find the right words in English.. :D (or you can TRY and use google translate to get an “idea”) hahah :D

Galing Sa Iyo
by: Ryan Solitario

Noong ako’y nag-iisa
Sa Iyo, ay aking hiniling
Na ang puso kong lumuluha
Makatagpo ng makakapiling

Sa isang saglit, ay sumagot Ka
Ako’y dininig, sa aki’y naawa
Ang puso ko ngayon ay masaya
Salamat po sa Iyo, O Ama.

Refrain

Galing sa Iyo
Ang kasama ko habang buhay
Sa lahat, siya ang karamay
Sa ligaya man o lumbay
Galing Sa Iyo
Kabiyak ng aking puso
Ang sagot sa panalangin
Kailanman ay laging mamahalin
Biyayang bigay sa akin
Galing sa Iyo

Sa piling niya, ako’y panatag
Siya’ng kaaliwan sa bagabag
Aking lakas, pag nanghihina
Pagmamamahal niya ay lagi kong dama

Hindi ko siya pababayaan
Bawat araw, aalagaan
Kailanma’y di ko siya iiwan
Ang puso ko ay sa kaniya lamang

Bridge
Ngayoy’y hinihiling ko po
Ingata’t patnubayan siya
Ama, pangako ko sa Iyo,
Buhay ko ma’y ibibigay, para sa kaniya.

A reason to try new things

Tomorrow is my 34th birthday. Actually, I’m already 34 because I was born in the Philippines and it’s already 12:33AM, March 1,  in P.I. Time :D!  The only thing I am looking forward to is performing for the choir during our scheduled worship service tomorrow night. Ryan is assigned organist too, so that makes it even more special :D. Then on Friday, Ryan and I have plans on how to make my 34th birth weekend interesting! We are taking an archery class!

Ever since Ryan bought me a Kindle Touch earlier this year, I’ve been able to read more! One of my favorite books is called, The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins which is now a movie that is coming out this month! The book made archery seem really cool and interesting, so that’s what Ryan and I are planning to do on Friday.

I just want to experience different things because time is going by too fast and I want to be able to experience and do as many things as I can before I can’t do them anymore… you k now what I mean? :D  Oh and since blogs are more better with a photo, here’s a picture Ryan took of me reading my Kindle Touch! It’s really one of the best inventions ever! :D

Chedric - HAPPY BIRTHDAY ATE!

San Marino, CA Portraits : Chiharu

Chiharu’s family and relatives were one of the first ones who had ever hired us to do a photography gig. First, Chiharu’s mom, Ka Angeli asked me if I could take photos for the Yagasaki Dental Center and then again, their family asked if I could take their Family Portraits. I even remember asking Chiharu’s cousins: Apple, Jackie, and Karen if I can take photos of them just for fun. The girls took a few hours of their Sunday afternoon to spend time with me just so I can practice my photography. Due to all of their support, I will never forget them for believing in me… especially during those earlier years as a photographer when I didn’t quite believe in myself… I did know, however, that God will always give me wonderful people to photograph and this family, well, they were truly heaven sent!

When Chiharu asked if I could take her pictures for her 18th birthday celebration, I was really thrilled that I could do this for her! Although I may not be the photographer on her birthday celebration due to conflicting schedules, I hope that through these photos, I can show my support and my appreciation for her and her family.

Dear Chiharu:  You have grown up to be such a beautiful woman inside and out! You make my photos look good and make my work easy!!! I loved our time together at the Huntington Botanical Gardens talking about anything and everything and I hope you enjoyed our time together trying to look like we are not professional photographers so we wouldn’t get kicked out of the gardens hehehe… that was fun hahaha :D
