So…. before I forget to share… here are a couple of teasers I wanted to post up for my friends :)  More to come!!!!

Ryan and I went to Vegas during his birthday weekend and we got to spend time with some friends :)

Sis. Emily and Bro. Jason met up with Ryan and I a few weeks ago and will be posting up more engagement photos.

My friend Alissa, who I used to work with, finally married her best friend, Jeff!  Her wedding was this past Saturday, May 12! So congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Vatter :D

We talked a bit on the phone and he told me the story about how he and Meghan met. When you hear him talk about her, you can tell just how much he adores her. I hope these photos below show and can closely match just how much they love one another.  If not, you’ll have to ask them yourselves about how they came to be Mr. and Mrs. Tolentino :)

Aldrin and Meghan: thank you again for choosing me and Ryan to be a part of your special day. Whenever I think about you two together, I can’t help but smile! Seriously! I’m smiling right now! :D I loved the fact that I was able to spend some time with the both of you. Aldrin, you were right when you told me, “I’m all grown up now” right before I started taking your engagement photos.  :D  You’re all grown up now, but I’m glad you can still act like kids around one another :D I wish you both love and joy throughout your lives together and I look forward to seeing you both grow as a family seeing little ones running around. :D

I had come to know of Alissa when we worked together in Grubb & Ellis where we were both Marketing Assistants to our respective teams. We had gotten to know one another well and I remember I kept telling her that I wanted to take portraits of her. Then she moved away…

We kept in touch through facebook and email though, so when she got engaged, she contacted me and told me she wanted me to do their engagement and wedding photos!  So this May, Ryan and I will be traveling to Lincourt Winery where Alissa and Jeff will be getting married.

During the shoot, Alissa told me that Jeff was a bit nervous because he didn’t want them to seem stiff in the photos…. From the looks of the photos below, I think they were just great! :)

I know its late, but better late than never…

Woke up late on Friday morning. Decided to celebrate the day after my birthday because then we get a 3 day weekend :D. Our couch finally arrived from Ikea and that made my morning because now we have a couch to sit on! :P

Got ready for archery! Drove down to Archery Outpost in Los Alamitos and we got to learn from a guy named Steve how to use a bow and arrow! That was awesome! Especially since on my first try, I got a bullseye! I tried to do it again, but could not… Steve says it’s because I’m thinking too much hahah.. oh well.. we’re definitely gonna try it out again, hopefully soon.

Had lunch at The Original Fish Grill compliments of the Vicente Family :) Thank you! We finally used the gift card you gave to us :D.  Then we drove to Fresh and Easy to get groceries to cook for my family dinner. I made Salmon, Beef Steak, Asparagus, and Brown Rice. Janice brought a cake for me. :D

That’s about it.  It was a simple birthday celebration but I had a wonderful weekend :D

This evening, I decided to cook/make/bake some empanadas.  I have this urge to learn new things lately… and I’m glad I’m doing so :D  Here are the empanadas I made and it’s yummers :D I had a pretty long week, so making these were therapeutic.
