Here’s a picture that we took before boarding our plane this morning. It was taken with an iPhone and I’m so bad at taking these self portraits… :P Sorry so blurry.

For example, I got my hair done again for a Brazilian Blowout!  However, the stylist’s schedule (the one who did my hair before) and my schedule did not sync, so I found another stylist who also does the Brazilian Blowout. Her name is Flor and you can find her on Facebook. She did an great job and so I wanted to give her some credit on my blog.

Afterwards, Ryan and I went shopping because I needed to buy two more suits. It’s always a happy feeling when I find a suit that actually fits me. One of my simple joys! :P

Ryan and I were gonna go out for lunch, but we decided to just go home and get Chinese food, relax, and watch a movie in the living room.  It really was a treat for us to just be home today…

Then it was time to get ready for an engagement session with Nick and Amadelle. I’ll be posting more photos from their session, but for now, here’s a teaser :D. Ryan got this shot and I really, really, really, like it a lot!

We were invited by Nick and Amadelle to get some Korean BBQ, but Ryan and I wanted to go to church to try and make it to vow. I’m glad we made it just in time.

After vow, Ryan and I decided to hang out with my brothers, Johnson and Jordan, because we wanted to spend some quality time with them before we leave on Tuesday. We decided to eat at Hofs Hut where we ordered two entries and shared with each other…

And that is how we spent our Saturday.

As I was going through all our mail, I found one envelope from Apple that contained a $50 gift card. I almost forgot about it, so it’s a good thing we are organizing right now because I want to get rid of things and that gift card is one of them.

So I’m gonna hold a really simple contest.

Okie dokie… back to our summer cleaning..I hope everyone has a great weekend!

I know.. I know.. yesterday, I posted up my recent engagement blog post on the ES-Sense Fan Page on Facebook, but Ryan told me that was okay…  You see.. I still need to keep that site updated… so just to let you know, the only reason why I would go on Facebook is just to update our Fan Page Site :D

I’ve been doing really good too! At first, I had these withdrawal symptoms from Facebook! I just had to know what everyone was up to! But after a few days.. I realized I’m actually okay not having to check everyone’s statuses.. :P  I guess what helped too was that I removed the FB App from my iPhone!  Now, I’m able to get A TON of things done!  This evening, I was able to upload my most recent family photo session, edit the photos, and export the photos.  Before I sleep, I’m going to upload it all on smugmug so that by the time I wake up tomorrow, I can burn the photos and get it ready for my friend Yvonne!

I wanted to learn something new so when we were in the grocery store, Ryan suggested we make Melon Juice, which is just cantaloupe, water, sugar, and ice.

We couldn’t find the right scraper tool in Ralphs to scrape the cantaloupe meat, so we went to a filipino store and found what we were looking for to make the drink! In case you’ve never seen it (like me before yesterday), here’s a picture of what it looks like.

And here’s what we had for our  lunch :D – Turkey burger with sweet potato baked fries and of course, our Melon drink!! :D

I was in awe seeing the cover shot of the magazine and I knew I had to buy it. So I did.

It contained photos of different places of the world and now I’m going to see if Ryan and I  and even my relatives and friends, can visit SOME if not ALL of those places.

I want to be able to see for myself the beautiful places or “masterpieces” that was created in this world by God’s Almighty hand for people to appreciate and enjoy.

So sometime in the near future, when my mom returns back from the Philippines, I’m going to set up a family trip to finally see the Grand Canyon in Arizona.

Oh My Goodness Gracious! He is so adorable! :D I’m sorry Giles, but I see Michelle in baby Gabriel!  It’s okay though because Gavin is totally a mini-Giles :D

Tomorrow, I’m going to take more baby photos but for now, here’s to introducing Gabriel Micah Evangelista Ordinario :D

Welcome to the world!

Afterwards, we decided to go for a walk. First we thought about walking around the mall, but later decided to go to Upper Newport Bay in Newport Beach, CA. We walked along the dirt path and realized how beautiful and peaceful it was over there so, not wanting to forget our “date night”, I took my camera out and we shot some photos of one another.

It’s wonderful how I am now able to bring my camera with me at all times because of my Kelly Moore Bag! Now I really have no reason to not have my camera and now I can capture and remember special moments like the one Ryan and I had this evening.

The Strength of Our Hearts

Though we may be hard pressed in every side,

We passed by our local grocery store and got the ingredients for the dish and when I got home, I started cooking. (Side Note: Yup, our vegetarian diet is on hold for now because I got bored eating non-meat dishes. But hey, it’s only once in awhile anyways :P)

When lunch was finally ready and we were about to eat, Ryan asks me, “How did you cook the meat?” and so I said, “I made it with love” and gave him a smile :). Yes, I’m funny like that :P

Later on in the afternoon, As we were driving on the 405, I asked him, “Did you enjoy lunch today?”. He just nodded his head, so I reminded him, “You know, I made that with love.” He then replies, “Yes, it tasted like love.”

I really love my husband :)
