Randy, Emelda’s significant other, also joined us and with these two, we had one memorable session. They are one of the sweetest couples we’ve met and I just love how they were up for anything for the sake of taking some awesome photos – even if it meant dodging cars or sitting in a field of flowers no matter how uncomfortable they felt.. They totally trusted me and my crazy ideas and I just want to thank them for believing in me and Ryan :) I’m looking forward to more photo sessions with them in the future.. most of all I’m looking forward to a lifetime of a new found friendship!

Ryan, my husband, is so awesome! I am always amazed by the things he does and I’m so very thankful that I get to spend a lot of time with him each day. We work 5 minutes away from each other in Orange County which means we get to eat lunch together almost every single day and we carpool to and from work which gives us more time together to talk about how our day went. We have family hour in the car EVERY DAY heheh :o)

I’ve been asked if we ever get tired of being together so much… and the answer is NO. NEVER. EVER. Even when I’m at work, I need to be on my phone calling him every so often asking him, “What are you doing?” or I would just call to bug him because I love hearing his voice.

Ryan has taught me so much. He taught me to believe in myself and to believe in what God can do for our business. Even when I felt like my photos were just awful, he would say they were beautiful. I think one of the biggest things I learned from Ryan in regards to photography was how to shoot in Manual. It took me the first 2 years to figure it out. I thought I would never learn, but he was always encouraging and because of that, I finally got it. ;o)

Not only is he my favorite musician, but he is also my favorite second photographer.  He definitely has an eye and he is so creative too! There are so many instances where I wish I had taken a shot from his angle because the shot he takes is just so beautiful.

Later in December, we have another appointment with them to take family portraits again! This time with their relatives! I can’t wait! Hopefully by then, I’ll be able to meet their baby girl! Amy, you are truly blessed with a beautiful family that will soon be blessed with a new baby girl! Thank you all so much for giving us the opportunity to know you all personally!

Lauralee, you’re going to be a wonderful, beautiful mama ;o)

Last week, Ryan and I met up with Steve and Lauralee for a photo session! They’re having a baby!!! I’ll post more photos tomorrow, but for now, here’s a teaser from their session.

Ryan and I had one of the most busiest weekends ever! It started as early as 3:30 AM on Saturday morning to prepare for a wedding in Montclair, CA. Then we had to go to the chapel in the evening to perform as choir members for our Grand Evangelical Mission. We got home around 10:45 PM.

Sunday was as busy as Saturday. Again, we woke up early (around 4:00 AM) to prepare for the 6:30 AM scheduled worship service. After performing, we had just enough time to eat breakfast with kuya Ed and Shey who treated us at George’s Place (THANK YOU!). We all then headed to the viewing of our late sister Fe Evangelista. I’m glad we were able to go in the morning because from there we headed to ate Myra’s house to do a maternity photo shoot with her before it’s too late and baby Arceo decides to come out earlier than expected.

Ryan had to go to work in Irvine, CA while I stayed taking ate My’s photos. We ate some delicious Thai food that kuya Jay and ate My ordered (THANK YOU!). Ryan came to pick me up around 12:30 PM and at around 1:30 PM we headed to San Gabriel Valley for a meeting at 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM. When our meeting ended, we headed back towards Long Beach because we had choir practice at 6:00 PM. We also had a scheduled all officer’s General Meeting at 7:00 PM as well as choir vow afterwards… We got home around 9:30 PM and ate dinner… and I couldn’t believe how much scrambled eggs and spam tasted so good! (I know that it’s not a good healthy choice in food, but give me a break… I had a LONG DAY).

Sometimes I feel like I don’t have enough.. There’s always sooo many things going on with me and Ryan. I don’t know how we are able to get things done sometimes… my only reasoning is… God is giving us an extra 4 hours a day… so instead of 24 hours a day… We actually get 28 hours a days… I’m sure that without God in our lives, we wouldn’t be able to do all the things on our checklist and plans we have for our future…

I can’t wait to meet baby Maia. I’m sooo excited! She’s definitely going to be one of my favorite babies to photograph! Thank you Vanessa for being a great friend and sister to me. I’m so happy for you and Myke! Ryan and I had a fun time hanging out and eating dinner last night with you both. We gotta do that again soon!!
