My name is Joan Solitario and I'm a photographer :)

I did not find photography and photography did not find me. Instead, I believe it was a gift from God. He gave me the opportunity to learn photography so that I can help people capture their memories. Most of all, I can use this gift for His glory.

Photography has given me the opportunity to meet and get to know so many wonderful people! It has also given me the opportunity to photograph events that has helped in strengthening my faith. These events have also given me inspiration and memories that will truly last a lifetime! Hopefully, I can inspire someone by sharing these memories through my posts.

I believe that everything that has happened in my life; everything that I have experienced; and every single person that I have met in my life were all part of God's plan for me. So, unto Him, I return all praise, honor, and glory.

He noticed her one day during choir practice at church and her beauty attracted him to have enough courage to ask for her number. She thought it was a simple request as a fellow choir member/friend, so she didn’t hesitate at all. She gave him her number, and the rest is history… but it wasn’t that simple… their journey, their relationship, their love…

Mick and Paulene endured a long distance relationship for many years because he moved to the US while Paulene remained in the Philippines. It took so much patience of being faithful.. of emailing, facebooking, and other means of communication, but you can definitely say it was all worth the wait. They’re getting married tomorrow!

They reminded me so much of Ryan and myself, so when Mick asked me to be their wedding photographer, I happily accepted. Here are some of my favorite photos from their engagement session :)
