It’s 1:04 AM as I am typing up this blog. Ryan and I aren’t sleeping yet because we are trying to organize our office before we leave for our trip on Tuesday. We’ll be gone for approximately 5 weeks and we are really excited about it.

As I was going through all our mail, I found one envelope from Apple that contained a $50 gift card. I almost forgot about it, so it’s a good thing we are organizing right now because I want to get rid of things and that gift card is one of them.

So I’m gonna hold a really simple contest.

Here’s what you need to do:

Just leave a comment below and tell me what was the coolest or weirdest thing(s) you found while organizing your home or office? Please be sure to leave a valid e-mail address and your full name so that I can contact you if your name is randomly picked.

We will announce the winner on Tuesday, July 20 at around 12PM, so as long as you submit your entry before then, you will be included in the contest. I’ll be sure to send it out the same day.  So please, help me get rid of it!! :D

Saskia - found an old motorola analog flip phone circa mid to late 90’s. (please do not laugh! *ahahahahha*). those mobiles where the iphone of that era. *hahaha*

thought nothing more of it than just a retro non working mobile. perused through my contacts list…and there it was … one of my best mate’s (since grammar school) phone number i’ve been scouring every single chance i’ve had. *whew* he was a hottie! *giggles* wait! i meant… he’s such a fantastic mate! =P Since then… we corresponde and link up every chance we’ve got!

Milady Franco - While cleaning around the house, I found my grandfather’s old briefcase in the closet. He passed away more than 10 years ago. The briefcase was filled with old documents, pictures, and such. However, the most intriguing part of the briefcase was that there was $500 worth of money in an envelope. I suppose my grandfather had no intention on spending it, or just simply saving it.

Jen - The coolest thing I found while cleaning the house was a World War one rifle. It was wrapped in plastic and kept in a storage area so I guess the previous owners forget it.

Noel Tampon - I found 2 of my old Gameboy “Bricks” and they both still work! :D

Grae - It’s both cool and weird! We acquired a bed frame from the warehouse with 4 pillar-esques on each side. One time, my mom and I were cleaning my room and decided to put those roach balls on every nook and cranny possible. I checked one of those gold colored ornaments on the bed frame and one of them was unhinged already. Crammed inside were love notes from the original owner. It was dated 4 years ago and the contents made me go aww and wince at the same time hahaha!

Joan - Jan Michael: LOL!! I wish I was able to keep all of my wisdom tooth, but they had to cut it up to get it removed :P.

Jan Michael Duya - The weirdest thing i found when i was cleaning my room before i moved out for college was an ice breakers mints box with my wisdom teeth in it! YUP all 4. hehe. pretty gross but also exciting. =) lol.

Joan - PJ: COOOL! That is awesome! Did you find out how much it was worth!?

PJ Inthara - i found a 1897 dollar coin in my box of old coins! while throwing out old stuff from my garage!
