Although I had a busy day today (start of our walking club in the morning, engagement session in the afternoon, and bible study in the evening), I wanted to make sure Ryan and I had a full stomach so that we had energy to accomplish all of our tasks today. So I decided to cook him some home cooked beef steaks (filipino style) for lunch with chopped tomatoes.
We passed by our local grocery store and got the ingredients for the dish and when I got home, I started cooking. (Side Note: Yup, our vegetarian diet is on hold for now because I got bored eating non-meat dishes. But hey, it’s only once in awhile anyways :P)
When lunch was finally ready and we were about to eat, Ryan asks me, “How did you cook the meat?” and so I said, “I made it with love” and gave him a smile :). Yes, I’m funny like that :P
Later on in the afternoon, As we were driving on the 405, I asked him, “Did you enjoy lunch today?”. He just nodded his head, so I reminded him, “You know, I made that with love.” He then replies, “Yes, it tasted like love.”
I really love my husband :)
