What Anna remembers about the time she first saw Rius was during a youth membership meeting. What really stood out most about Rius was his voice and how loud it was as he was introducing himself to the youth members in the locale of San Jose. She recalls Rius telling the group what neighborhood he and his family had moved to and Anna realized they lived close to her house. When Rius found out that he and Anna were pretty much neighbors, he jokingly said that she was stalking him. (Oh sure Rius.. are you certain it wasn’t the other way around ;)) Well, no matter who was stalking who first, what is important is that their lives definitely crossed and with God’s blessings, they were wed on a beautiful Saturday morning in Mountain View, California.
It was a joy to have been a part of their wedding. Rius and Anna are one of the most nicest people you could ever meet! I know I say that about ALL my brides and grooms, but you really can’t blame me for being so lucky for having such wonderful clients turned friends who are also members of my church! It really is a blessing to know them and I am thankful to God for giving me and Ryan this opportunity.
Without further delay, here are some of their photos from their wedding. To view the slideshow, please click here.
THANK YOU ANNA AND RIUS!!! Best wishes to both of you and can’t wait to see you again this year at Honeylette & Jay’s wedding! :o)
I was told that morning that Rius’ mom arranged all the flowers for the wedding (of course with some helping hands) but wow! She did a beautiful job with Anna’s bouquet.

I enjoy watching the groom right before the bride enters. Rius has this nervous/excited look that he is trying to contain…

… and when he finally sees his bride, all his emotions just burst out with tears of joy!

The lesson taught during the wedding ceremony is the most important part of the wedding day because it is during this time, we are taught God’s words on the responsibilities as husband and wife.

One of my favorite parts during the wedding that I love capturing is the recessional :)

Then its on to some portraits :)

Anna sang a touching song to her dad and I have to confess that it did get me teary eyed!

The beautiful couple :). While I was shooting this…

Ryan shot this… :) I love my second photographer!

And I promised Rius that I would take a picture of him and his car :)

This is still one of my favorite shots from the day.

Okay, fine… this is my favorite one too…

OH I need to add this photo below! Why? Because these ladies made me feel so welcomed and I appreciate them for making my trip up to Northern California worth it too! Thanks Lexie, Cherie, and Ashley! :) I hope to see you ladies again soon!
