Irvine, California Portraits : Iris Cheung Photography

Ryan and I met Iris 3 weeks ago for dinner at Olive Garden. About a week later, we meet up again at the Strawberry Farms in Irvine, CA for a mini portrait session with Iris, owner of Iris Cheung Photography and now a new friend of ours.

I’m so glad I met Iris.  She had messaged me one day asking me if she could be a second photographer for a wedding. Since that e-mail message she had sent me, I’ve been following her blog and I just enjoy her stories about her children and I find myself laughing out loud when I read her short conversations with her son!

It’s so funny when photographers that I have been fortunate to photograph say, “I don’t know what to do in front of the camera!” but then later, when they start to hear the camera clicking away, they actually know what they should do without me having to really tell them what to do! Iris is one of those photographers! She’s a natural in front of the camera and it was a lot of fun photographing her!

Iris, thank you so much for spending time with me and Ryan! We’re looking forward to more meet-ups with you! We’re really glad we met you!!

This is probably one of my favorite shots of the session!

No.. maybe this is my favorite one…

No… definitely… this is my favorite one!
