Early Saturday morning, Ryan and I attended the chapel dedication for the locale of Araneta. It is such a beautiful house of worship and I’m so happy for the brethren in that locale. The service was officiated by our Bro. EVM. It was such an inspirational and spiritual worship service.. I wish everyone would one day have the opportunity to attend worship services officiated by the Church Adminisrator.

After the worship service, I was able to meet with all the guys that I’m going to be working with. Can’t get into specifics, but I just want to say that for the past 2 days that I have gotten to meet and work with them, I am really going to miss all of them when we are done with our project. At first, I was really scared… scared of what they would think of me… scared of what they would say and how they would act after they have gotten to know me and see all my flaws…However, everyone is so helpful to one another. They are some of the most nicest, supportive and talented group of individuals you could ever meet. They did not only become my new friends… but I consider them as my family too.. my brothers…

Since blogs are better with photos, here’s a picture Ryan took of some decor that I really like.

Ryan and I finally got to meet up with my relatives for dinner.  Since this dinner was of short notice, only a couple of my cousins met up with us at Red Ribbon Restaurant. But, I enjoyed their company and I’m so grateful they took time to have dinner with us. I wish I could have spent more time with all of them, but our time is so limited. Next time we visit the Philippines, I’m hoping we get to spend more time with them and visit my province in the Philippines, Donsol, Sorsogon. Here’s a group picture of me and my family in the Philippines :o)

We also met with Dr. Genesis Rivera and ate Olene who gave Ryan a couple of organ lessons when he was younger :o). Dr. Genesis Rivera had these organists classes that Ryan attended for about 2 years and according to Dr. Rivera, Ryan was a really good student :o) Here is a picture with Dr. Rivera who is standing next to me and ate Olene who is at the end to the right.

Meeting these people who had influenced Ryan in the past was a treat in itself, but what was even more wonderful was meeting the Tabernacle Choir.  When we entered the room, they were singing a song… All I can say is, “WOW!”. They sounded awesome!  The Tabernacle Choir was the choir who recorded the song, “Our Race, We Have Won!”

Inspiration overload. That is how I can describe my trip to the Philippines so far… Being able to visit the central office every day is a dream come true and I am enjoying every second of every minute of every hour of every day! :o) I’m so very thankful to God for His blessings and I hope that Ryan and I can always do things that please Him. All I know is that when we get back to the states.. I’m ready and energized to get back to performing all of our duties again. I miss being able to sing in the choir. I miss working with my fellow District and Locale officers. I’m blessed to be working along side these wonderful officers! Maybe one day, we can all go back to the Philippines together to get and benefit from some Inspiration Overload!

Here’s a picture taken of me and Ryan on our 5th Day here in the Philippines :o)! I love this photo!!!!!
