I met Yvonne over 5 years ago. We worked in CB Richard Ellis (CBRE) Anaheim office together as Marketing Assistants. We ate lunch together, vented our work challenges with one another, and became really good friends. Then I had to move to the Newport Beach office because my team was relocating. Yet, Yvonne is the type of friend who will always keep in touch with you. She’s the kind of person who really values friendship. So even though I moved to another office, we still kept in touch.
I no longer work for CBRE and I have moved on to another company, but Yvonne and I still try to keep in contact. Thank goodness for internet and telephones, right? We make time to get lunch together and sometimes, we end up talking in the restaurant for hours! She has even accepted an invitation to come to church with me and brought her husband Daniel along too! I really miss her a lot and I’m so glad to call her my friend!
One day, she calls me up telling me that we need to have a lunch date together. So we had set to have lunch a couple of days after my birthday. When we met up, I was shocked! She was pregnant! She told me she didn’t want to tell me over the phone, but in person! :oP But I’m glad Yvonne had told me in person because I wouldn’t have been able to give her a big hug to congratulate her! ;o)
A few weeks ago, I was asked to take her family photos! Baby Daniel is such a handsome baby! He’s going to be a heartbreaker when he grows up ;o)
