We are heading back to Long Beach, CA today. Our DC trip is about to end. But before checking out at our hotel, Ryan and I are going to do some souvenir shopping for family and ourselves. I’m still trying to find a penny pressers that just says, “Washington DC” on it, but I haven’t found one yet. Hopefully, I’ll find one before I leave. If not, it’s okay. I got two pennies pressed from the smithsonian museums we’ve visited. I’m really gonna miss this place! There’s just so much history! But I miss Long Beach, CA already and I’m ready to go back home.

I’ll be sure to log about our vacation when we get home. I want to be able to post about it while the memory is still fresh in my head! I don’t want to forget this vacation to DC.

Just a short post! A really short post on what we’re up to at the moment.

We’re visiting Washington DC and have been here since yesterday! I LOVE THIS PLACE! So much history…

I’ll post more about our experiences after our vacation such as our tour in the White House, the Museums we’ve seen and the Monuments we got to visit last night during our Bike the Sites Monument Tour! ;o)

Till then… we want to thank Randy (Ryan’s boss) who gave us these helpful tourists books! They really helped a lot!

After three years of wanting a flash website for this photography business of mine, es-sense finally has one!

We had a couple of options as to what programs to use to create this flash site of ours, but in the end, we decided to go with WIX.

Wix is a fabulous web based flash website creator! It took awhile for me to get the hang of it, but when I finally understood the mechanics (and it’s really not that difficult), it was so easy to make my own site pretty much from scratch.. without having to learn the flash program! You can even create a free website! Oh! If you decide to get the premium membership account it, they are having a special limited time offer: Purchase their eCommerce plan for only $15.90/mo for the first 6 months. We didn’t sleep till almost 2 last night. Ryan and I were reading the jokes submitted by our fellow blog followers :o) Thank you so much for participating and sharing some of your funnies with us! If I could, I would give you all a prize… but I can’t.. :oP

So without further delay, the prize for our “We hit 100 fans on our facebook fan page!” contest goes to Grae who submitted the following joke and kept Ryan laughing for a good 15 mins!

Here’s the joke she submitted!

The LAPD, the FBI, & the CIA are all trying to prove that they are the best at apprehending criminals. The President decides to give them a test. He releases a rabbit into a forest and each of them has to catch it.

The CIA goes in. They place animal informants throughout the forest. They question all plant and mineral witnesses. After three months of extensive investigations they conclude that rabbits do not exist.

The FBI goes in. After two weeks with no leads they burn the forest, killing everything in it, including the rabbit and they make no apologies. The rabbit had it coming.

The LAPD goes in. They come out two hours later with a badly beaten bear. The bear is yelling, “Okay, okay, I’m a rabbit, I’m a rabbit!”

I felt like I was hanging out with a lot of babies this past weekend!

After work on Friday, we visited our friends, Leslie and Alain, at the hospital. They had just become the newest parents I know with the arrival of their daughter Riley Nicole. When we got there, our friends Henry and Rachel were also visiting and they brought their baby Lauren with them too! OMG They are sooo cute! My camera couldn’t resist and I had to take some photos of them, which I’ll post up later on my blog.

Saturday’s Bon Fire was awesome! Not only did we get to hang out with our friends, but I really enjoyed my little conversations with Gavin. Gavin is one of the first toddlers I got to photograph when I started this photography business. He’s grown up so fast! 

On Sunday, Ate Myra had a little birthday luncheon at her place so we got to visit baby Kai. Kai is getting cuter and cuter by the day! I need to take some new photos of him soon! Lastly, Ryan and I drove to Anaheim to meet up with my friend Yvonne and her husband Daniel who are also new parents! Their baby Daniel was born on 7/7 and weighed 7lbs and 7oz. Yup! He’s their lucky charm!

Sooo many babies all over the place! Not to mention my friends who are expecting too like, April and Gary, Gaile and Meinrad, Ate Lanie and Joben, Kuya Aries and Ate Lanie! Talk about Baby Boom…

Speaking of expectations… here’s what to expect from us soon.. our new website which is still under construction :oP

She’s a member of our church’s choir, she’s studying to be an RN, she’s only 20 years old, and another thing that amazes me about this young lady is that she recently started her own part time business!  Jenny makes jewelries and so it is fitting that her business is called, “Jenny’s Jewelry“.

Jenny and I decided that she needed some professional photographs of herself to post on her website. So last Sunday, we decided to meet up to take some! It was a lot of fun spending some time with her and her mom! Jenny is one of the most nicest, sweetest person you will ever meet. I have known her since she was really young and now she’s grown up to be not only a smart and beautiful woman, but an active member of our church. I’m glad she agreed to letting me take these photos of her.
