Before he was born, I used to pray to God that I would have a baby sibling in the family.
It’s not that I wasn’t satisfied with already having a sister and a brother… and I don’t really know why I prayed specifically for a baby sibling… I just wanted one… and so I prayed.. and prayed.. and prayed for a baby brother or baby sister.
A few years later, my prayer was answered. My baby brother Jordan came into the world and not only was he a surprise (he’s about 20 years younger than me) but a blessing as well.
Jordan is the most sweetest person you could ever know. He always worries about his brother and sisters as well as our parents. If he realizes it’s past 10:30 p.m. and someone in our family is not home, he starts calling us up to make sure we’re okay. When our brother Johnson is ill and is unable to move around, Jordan is the one who attends to him and takes care of his older brother. He is a blessing to my family and I’m so happy God gave him to us.
Although this is a late post.. because Jordan’s Elementary Commencement Ceremony was a month ago… I don’t want to forget… so I’m blogging about it NOW. Better late than never! Right?
I can’t believe he is going to middle school soon! I remember when I held him in my arms… he was so little then.. (even though he was a big baby – weighing 12 lbs and 14 ounces when he was born).. and now.. he’s grown to be taller than me!
Jordan John Villanueva Endique – Congratulations! ;o) Be good always and be sure to try your best in school always! STAY AWAY from bad companions.. because they ruin good character! Always put God first and everything else will fall into place… ALWAYS BE PRAYERFUL! Lastly… always remember that even though you are growing up to be bigger and taller than me… you will ALWAYS be my baby brother!
Here are some photos from his grad day.
This is our mother. She’s the best mom we could ever ask for! She has been to all our graduations!
Johnson and Jordan. My brothers.
My big – baby brother, Jordan.
