Through the leadership of my friend Marilyn Salazar, a group was formed: Team: Positive Inspiration for the American Cancer Society Relay For Life. I’m always happy to include on my blog, acts of kindness that my friends do to benefit other people. Cancer has affected lives of so many families and relatives that I know… and hopefully through all the research studies that continues on for finding a cure for cancer, there will be a cure.

Also, if you have time on Saturday, June 6th, we invite you to join the Relay For Life event. The ceremony starts at 10 am and ends at 10 am the following day. My friend, Liezl Ocampo, is performing at 3:00 p.m.! She has a CD out too! Check out her music and site by clicking: http://www.liezl.net/. Liezl was the first person who had inspired me to write music for the church when I was younger. ;o)
