My name is Joan Solitario and I'm a photographer :)

I did not find photography and photography did not find me. Instead, I believe it was a gift from God. He gave me the opportunity to learn photography so that I can help people capture their memories. Most of all, I can use this gift for His glory.

Photography has given me the opportunity to meet and get to know so many wonderful people! It has also given me the opportunity to photograph events that has helped in strengthening my faith. These events have also given me inspiration and memories that will truly last a lifetime! Hopefully, I can inspire someone by sharing these memories through my posts.

I believe that everything that has happened in my life; everything that I have experienced; and every single person that I have met in my life were all part of God's plan for me. So, unto Him, I return all praise, honor, and glory.

San Juan Capistrano, CA Engagement Session : April & Gary

April and Gary were referred to me by my friend Allan who will be coordinating their wedding this coming April 18th. It was the first time I met them on Sunday and it was also the day we had set for their engagement session. Before we met though, I had spoken with Gary on the phone who recognized Ryan from my blog and asked if this was the Ryan Solitario from New Era University that used to be in the male chorale. I told him that he was correct and I found out Gary used to also be in the male chorale. It really is a small world!

Ryan and I had fun spending time with both of them, most of all documenting their sweet love. Here’s a slideshow from the session.
