I did not find photography and photography did not find me. Instead, I believe it was a gift from God. He gave me the opportunity to learn photography so that I can help people capture their memories. Most of all, I can use this gift for His glory.

Photography has given me the opportunity to meet and get to know so many wonderful people! It has also given me the opportunity to photograph events that has helped in strengthening my faith. These events have also given me inspiration and memories that will truly last a lifetime! Hopefully, I can inspire someone by sharing these memories through my posts.

I believe that everything that has happened in my life; everything that I have experienced; and every single person that I have met in my life were all part of God's plan for me. So, unto Him, I return all praise, honor, and glory.

Yes, it’s true.. i’ve fallen in love…

…and it’s with my new lens!

Ryan and I purchased it this evening at Samy’s Camera as soon as we got off work. He actually called in to find out they had a special going on.. and compared to a lot of other places where we could have gotten this lens, it’s a bargain.

I can’t wait to shoot with it this Saturday! Ryan and I will be taking engagement photos of our good friends, Juliet and Hugh, who will be getting married this coming April!! It’s about time! I miss shooting people.. with a camera :o)

First, a new shootsac cover from ate Myra… and now a new lens… Maybe someone out there will be really generous and give me a D700 or a D3??? Oh well.. it doesn’t hurt to ask..

Andrei - Man, i wish i could get into photography. It’s just really expensive, and everyone’s getting into it too. I don’t want to make it seem like i’m jumping on the band wagon. lol.

me and fred are thinking about getting a 2nd camera.. we were like – if we have to pay so much for an automatic prime lens for the D60, might as well just get another camera instead HAHAHAHAHA. great thinking, right?
