My name is Joan Solitario and I'm a photographer :)

I did not find photography and photography did not find me. Instead, I believe it was a gift from God. He gave me the opportunity to learn photography so that I can help people capture their memories. Most of all, I can use this gift for His glory.

Photography has given me the opportunity to meet and get to know so many wonderful people! It has also given me the opportunity to photograph events that has helped in strengthening my faith. These events have also given me inspiration and memories that will truly last a lifetime! Hopefully, I can inspire someone by sharing these memories through my posts.

I believe that everything that has happened in my life; everything that I have experienced; and every single person that I have met in my life were all part of God's plan for me. So, unto Him, I return all praise, honor, and glory.

There are so many things I’m looking forward to this year for es-sense.

1. Photographing upcoming engagements and weddings.

2. Revamping my web site.

3. Revamping my blog site.

4. Taking some bio photos.

5. Last but certainly NOT the least.. second shooting!

A couple of weeks ago, I found highschool friends of mine, Mariemil and Paolo who also run their own photography business (Maolo Photography). When I contacted them, they were in South Korea where Paolo is in a contract to teach English for one year. Paolo and Mariemil are a husband and wife team.. but since Paolo is in South Korea, Mariemil had asked if I would be interested in helping her second shoot some weddings…So I told her..

YES! DEFINITELY!! YES! YES! YES! OF COURSE I CAN! :o) I’ll be shooting a wedding with her this coming April 4th at San Juan Capistrano!

She understands how hard it is to start your own photo business and I’m just so grateful that out of so many talented photographers out there, she wants to help me… I don’t know what I did to deserve this blessing/opportunity, but I’m so thankful for it and I’m SO EXCITED!

Mariemil and Paolo: THANK YOU SO BIG!!!!!!!!! You both are definitely sent from heaven to help me with this business of mine :o)

Jennifer - The study is going quite interesting myself… So far it’s it’s impeccable of how people respond on the internet. I love the photo’s on your blog! One day I plan to get married and have no idea of how photo’s should look on the big day as far as idea and contrast of when photo’s should be taken.
