My name is Joan Solitario and I'm a photographer :)

I did not find photography and photography did not find me. Instead, I believe it was a gift from God. He gave me the opportunity to learn photography so that I can help people capture their memories. Most of all, I can use this gift for His glory.

Photography has given me the opportunity to meet and get to know so many wonderful people! It has also given me the opportunity to photograph events that has helped in strengthening my faith. These events have also given me inspiration and memories that will truly last a lifetime! Hopefully, I can inspire someone by sharing these memories through my posts.

I believe that everything that has happened in my life; everything that I have experienced; and every single person that I have met in my life were all part of God's plan for me. So, unto Him, I return all praise, honor, and glory.

I’m REGISTERED! WOOO HOO!! I’m registered to attend my very first ever photography workshop!! It’s not just a workshop. It’s THE workshop to go to because it’ll be led by JASMINE STAR! HOW AWESOME IS THAT!?! She’s the person I look up to THE MOST as a photographer and one day, I hope to be as successful as her!! She’s just so awesome! I haven’t met her in person… but I can just tell how awesome she is!

When I saw her post about her workshop… I was too late (or so I thought) because she posted an update note saying the workshop was already full!! But that didn’t stop me and I was determined to go.. somehow.. someway… So I said a short prayer, pleading that somehow, a seat would be available with my name on it! So I registered!

Today I got an email from her saying a seat opened up and it was FOR ME so I made sure to make the payment ASAP!! I know it’s going to be a GREAT investment and experience for me. I’m SO EXCITED!

That’s my story today! I wanted to document it so I don’t forget!!! I’m writing this blog about registering for my very first PHOTO WORKSHOP and it’s with JASMINE STAR!!!! Yes, I guess it’s safe to say, I’m definitely Jasmine Star-Struck!!
