My name is Joan Solitario and I'm a photographer :)

I did not find photography and photography did not find me. Instead, I believe it was a gift from God. He gave me the opportunity to learn photography so that I can help people capture their memories. Most of all, I can use this gift for His glory.

Photography has given me the opportunity to meet and get to know so many wonderful people! It has also given me the opportunity to photograph events that has helped in strengthening my faith. These events have also given me inspiration and memories that will truly last a lifetime! Hopefully, I can inspire someone by sharing these memories through my posts.

I believe that everything that has happened in my life; everything that I have experienced; and every single person that I have met in my life were all part of God's plan for me. So, unto Him, I return all praise, honor, and glory.

My very first post on our new blog! A special post it is too because it’s about our friends baby shower party!! Our close and dear friends ate My and kuya Jay had a baby shower on Saturday, October 18. The party was held at the same venue as their engagement party 9 7 years ago in 2001 (if I’m not mistaken!) (crossed out the 9. Just corrected by Andrei! hahah I’m really not a math person :P ) . It was an intimate party of close family and friends; a little get together to welcome the soon to arrive baby boy. Ate My is due early December! I still have to make time with her to take some maternity photos!

Ate My and Kuya Jay: CONGRATULATIONS! Ryan and I are REALLY excited to meet baby boy Arceo!! That means tons and tons of baby picture time!!!!
