They only had a couple of hours of sleep, but at 5 in the morning, Bro Asbel and Sis Beth were already up and about getting ready for their special day.  With them were family members and friends visiting from all parts of the country and some even came from as far as London to witness these two getting married… again. They’ve already been married for 15 years, but even for that many years, you can still how much they are head over heals in love with one another.

Bro Asbel and Sis Beth: Thank you po for letting us cover your special day.  It was really something special and inspirational for me and Ryan.  Hopefully one day, Ryan and I will also renew our vows and we hope that our love will be as strong as the love you both have.

When I was still in my teens, I already started to have my vow prayers for the right husband. When I prayed, I was really specific in asking God what I would like in a husband.  Father, PLEASE let him be smart, funny (because he needs to make me laugh), good looking (would be nice, but no pressure), taller than me, oh and also if it’s not too much to ask, please let him have a nice voice I can harmonize to. I know I’m asking for too much already, but it would also be nice if he and I can write beautiful music together…  Also, most importantly, please let him be an active church member, and VERY faithful to You.

It’s been 5 years, 9 months, 22 days, 6 hours, 38 mins and 58 seconds and counting (counting each blessed second), since we’ve been married (but I’ve known Ryan for over 10 years now), still I love Ryan more each and everyday. He really is a gift from God above and I’m the most luckiest woman to be his wife. Ryan definitely has all the characteristics I prayed for… God did not hold back on any of my requests for the PERFECT MAN.

This evening, while I started working on editing the photos of the wedding we covered on Saturday, Ryan started working on arranging a special song for someone very dear to us. Ryan filled our room with music… the same kind of music that made me fall in love with him over 10 years ago…

I wanted to capture this simple joy I am feeling this evening as we both are working on our separate projects… So I grabbed my camera and took a picture of Ryan arranging music…
